The sleeve has corner tabs for the laptop to sit in and protect the edges. It's light and has a lot of protection. You can fit a small mouse and powerpack in the sleeve, but as there's only one pocket for everything incl the laptop I wouldn't recommend it. Ordered this as I upgraded from a 2015 Mac Book Air to a 2023 Mac Book Air and needed a smaller case to fit the smaller laptop. Got delivered within a week even though it was estimated to arrive a few weeks later and my laptop fits perfectly with only a bit of room for the laptop to move around. Highly recommend! The Samsung Tab S7+ (12.4") fits very neatly into this case. It isn't a tight fit so the tablet can be removed easily but it isn't sloppy either. There is about 4mm space on either side and 12mm at the top, when the tablet is inside, so just an excellent fit. The case is well made and affords reasonable protection for the tablet around the home environment but you may want to consider a more robust option if you are taking it travelling.
