This laptop cooling pad is pretty good for its price, not the best, but not the worst. My laptop (15.6 inch) is a bit big for the pad, still fits well but the sides are off the pad. The cooling fan is very very silent but is a little bit weak, it does cool quite well for long uses especially. Personally, the fans are a hit further down from what I want, my laptop ventilation holes are a bit higher up and the fans are a bit lower so some parts still are a bit hot even when cooling. Works as advertised but I needed to shuffle my older, larger laptop around a bit to get it in the right place. One of the "legs" hangs over the edge. It can also be powered externally using an old phone charger if you run out of USB ports on the laptop. This product works very well for us. We have two in the house that are used when we have to work from home. They do a great job of keeping the laptops cool while working well as a laptop stand.
