This stable base lifted my laptop nicely off the desk and the cooling fans are quiet. Overall the laptop is running cooler. Great purchase for the money. Really helps with cooling and getting that extra performance out of your laptop - dual fan works well, and is quiet. I've noticed a difference of up to 10°C if not more depending on the game I'm playing. Well worth the money if you have a gaming laptop. It does the job brilliantly - unless the ambient temperature is high. Poor thing struggled when the room temp got over 27deg. Incredibly quiet though. At only 25dB you can't hear it. This cooling pad exceeds my expectaions. Keeps every thing runnning smoothly while using Revit and Adobe illistrator at the same time. Only noise, (and its bugger all) is the air movment that can be reduced to almost nothing at 50%. The height adjustable fold out feet that allow the laptop to be lifted up to 12cm if you wish are perfect, they make working at the standing desk easier and also bring the laptop up to the same height as the additional screen. Back light is suttle and works fine.

Kinda average honestly. Maybe 1-2degrees C cooler on average while gaming, but I really don't notice a huge change from my laptops own fans. Was hoping for a noticeable improvement. Not the end of the world because it's so cheap, but you get what you pay for. Kinda average honestly.
