An awesome gaming pc for its price but..
Bought this around July 2023 around same price range.Works well and fast without any hiccups. However, wifi just stopped working last week. Upon checking, it has very low signal and coverage. Had performed a reset and relocated it but issje still persists. Unable to find a solution so far. Luckily, had stored my old router as backup.
New modem
Works as intended, easy to setup and a ton of customisation options and settings.
Great value and performance
I have found the ASIS RT-RX3000 router to be a good value for money product . It was easy to set up, with ann easy to use interface and provides good wifi coverage throughout the house. Performance has been great since installation, really stable with no drop outs.

A good upgrade from AC router
I've been using this for six weeks now and am happy with the range and speed improvements over the RT-AC68U that it replaced.
Signal strength has improved in the far corners of the house and speed is good with AX clients (although no where near the theoretical maximums).
Overall very happy, and for the price I can live with it not supporting Merlin firmware.
Noice
Much better coverage than standard ISP router. A little annoying that the WPS by default is set to 'pin code' rather than just pushing the WPS buttons (Easy fix, in the web UI. However can't be changed in the app)
So far so good...
Purchased this unit Nov 2023. Fairly easy to install using the ASUS app. Running well and providing good coverage throughout the house, on multiple devices.

Stable speed with a great range of its signal. Great product really recommended
very difficult to set up
despite being told at time of puchase I could just plug in and it would go, it turned out to be difficult to set up with the instructions given and I had to pay for an IT technician to come and do it
Fit the purpose
Generates relatively strong WiFi signal.
Great connectivity and bandwidth.
Enjoying the benefit of my new router. No more stuttering and freezing when streaming. Only thing I would suggest is slightly clearer and more comprehensive instructions for set up.
Works better than the ISP provided router
Usually not a high bar, I know but it is easy to set up and configure and the speeds I am getting are better.
Make sure you have the instructions available which can be found on the item page of the router and it is a breeze.
Lots of functions built in and it is easy to check on via the Asus app.
