The adapter works great, on the games I play. I get one lag spike on a rare occasion, but nothing deal breaking.
It's very simple to install, just plug it in and go.

It's pretty solid for the price. I have noticed some ping time issues when playing a multiplayer game with a video in the background, but that's the only time I've had an issue. Bought this yesterday for my gaming computer as my rig didn't have built in wifi. Went in into pb tech Henderson and explained my situation to one of the ladies there and she recommended this. Best purchase ive made in a while. I used to use this when I lived downstairs approx 30m away from the modem through multiple walls, and even then got a pretty solid and stable connection of around 50Mbps which did the trick for gaming and youtube etc. I did have some issues with unstable drivers and this took a bit of searching around to get a stable driver, other than that it's a good stick though probably dated in todays standards.
