This is really easy to set up and use. I have an old PC for working from home. Just thought it would be convenient to have a Wi-fi adapter for the PC instead of having a long Ethernet cable running through the house. No regrets buying this Wi-fi adapter. I just plug in the Wi-fi adapter, run the set up disc and it found my Wi-fi network immediately. The speed is fast enough for my work which are cloud based applications. This is really easy to set up and use. I have an old PC for working from home. Simple to install, pretty much plug and play. 5Ghz speeds are ok when right next to the WIFI router, but it drops to slower 2.4Ghz and much slower speeds as soon as you move more than a few meters away. Wasn't sure it would do the job if providing wifi connection for a desktop computer but it definitely does the job with no difficulties. This tiny adapter gave above 100Mbps up and down reliably. Larger USB adapters have larger internal adapters or an external antenna work better.

These tiny USB wireless adapters are great for saving space but due to their tiny internal antennas, performance is generally poor when compared to larger products which have bigger antennas. They work better at 5.8GHz where the antenna is more effective.
