moved into new house to find we had no wifi coverage in rear rooms. After much research replaced old router with Deco 3pack system and what a difference. not only the whole house but all of the section as well. Speed went up also from 350 to 540 mbps ( we pay for 500 with one nz) was a easy set up , just had to change 1 setting for NZ to PPPoE . I got these to extend my existing WiFi network, and for that, they're amazing. The app guides you through adding new services to the network and it all just works without needing to know anything technical. The app is great too, like the feature to turn on a separate guest network of you don't want to share your WiFi password.

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the hub switch process. Since these were newer devices, I wanted to use one as the main router. The app has a button just for switching the main router to a new one, but it didn't work. Unless you're happy diagnosing weird router issues, stay away from the button to switch over the main unit to a new one.

It is great to control everything with the D-Link app too!

Very easy setup, in fact my 15yo daughter did it in five minutes and all worked on first attempt. With several video streamers concurrently active in evenings our older system simply became hopeless, very slow to load pages, timeouts etc. The Deco handles the load well, is snappy and highly recommended. We have a split level home with top level and lower level experiencing patchy WiFi signal, with this mesh router and satellite units in the rooms, we no longer have Wifi lag, buffering or loss of signal.

The units worked straight out of the box, the TV's running smoothly using wireless whereas before it was problematic. Phone stays hooked into the internet instead of flicking to Data all the time as you move around the house.

Bit complicated to get set up with our existing Router but once done the coverage is amazing! Possibly didn't need 2 because the coverage is so good, but gives us options to move 2nd one around when needed.
