After some inital teathing issues getting it set up on Fibre (using this Deco as the router) all is working very well. A good upgrade on the previous models which were in place.

We tried the "transfer" option from the old deco devices but this failed. So had to run the set up from scratch.

Coverage of a two-story 3-bed house is really good (1 device upstairs, and one down). Also have a NAS connected and shared which works really good. I researched options for home mesh set up (to make sure we were getting something that was compatible with our ISP) and was pleasantly surprised to find this system - I thought it was also a good price for what we were purchasing. To set up was a breeze, just plug and play. I did have a bit of trouble working out the cord and which port to use but that took all of 5 mins to solve. The units themselves are discrete and don't take much room. The coverage in our house is excellent - we have multiple devices and lots of demand for streaming. No more complaints from the kids! Fairly easy to install (in one case only once Starlink sent the device we actually ordered!). Have installed a few of these sets recently, the price fluctuates a bit so keep an eye out.

Setup was a bit of a pain but was simply after a quick google search. Has changed the way i game forever turned my 16mbps download speed to 400 mbps best purchase i have made. Works very well, once installed, and to be fair, install was mostly ok. But Install instructions with the device and on the app need improvement:
1. I had to do an online search to find out that you need to select some specific options for NZ
2. It tells you to keep resetting the fibre modem. Actually all it needs is to switch the Deco on and off to reboot. That reboot/startup takes a while so be patient but it does then work. Works very well, once installed, and to be fair, install was mostly ok. But Install instructions with the device and on the app need improvement:

Replaced my Huawei HG659b router modem and have got nearly 4x speed improvement and much better coverage throughout the house. Easy to setup and easy to manage. Wished I'd done it a few years ago. We live in a two storey, multiple room family house - where we run a small business out and have multiple devices connected to the WiFi. We were having issues with the Wifi dropping out and slowing down constantly. The Provider supplied router and a Wifi extender was not doing the job so we purchased this system after a bit of research and advice from the guys at PB Tech in store. This system was easy to set up - we just had to find the right spots to put the units but once it was up and running it made all those issues go away. We didn’t need to use all 3 units but are happy to have a spare. I highly recommend this system.
