I had to return this as on my MacBook Pro it required a hub to connect the ethernet cable to the machine and it didn't function. The instructions warn about this but it wasn't in the sales info.

My room doesn't have an ethernet outlet. There were a few solutions to get good internet for my PC, and this product worked like a charm for me. My house is fairly old, but this still gives me 120 mbps for what I need (gaming, streaming & etc). Highly recommend this product, and PB Tech was so fast with the order process. Highly recommend. Easy set up. Loss of transfer rate negligible compared to router/ONT only. Ping only seems to be 2-3ms higher. Just check the size before buying. They are relatively big and can block double wall sockets, plus they stick out a fair way. My ONT was also placed too close to the powerpoint and I couldn't fit this into the plug. Simple fix was a pass-through plug that lifted the powerline box above the ONT, but it did make it stick out even further. Easy set up. Loss of transfer rate negligible compared to router/ONT only. I was shocked at how great these worked. I haven't heard of Powerline Adapters and I have had just moved into a cabin at home for Work and couldn't find a LAN cable long enough to run it through the old fashion way. It replaces a previous one of another brand that gave me less than 20 Mbps. Now getting 100 Mbps on a Fibre 100 plan so that is fantastic. Easy to install, no issues. Just installed these in my office last month and am very happy with the results. If I connect with wifi I can usually only get around 50mb down and 40mb up, however when running through this device with ethernet I can get a stable 250mb down 250mb up and my current apartment is over 50 years old, so I doubt the copper wiring is perfect. Needed an extension to my existing AV1300 network. These were on sale and cheaper than the AV1300 ones.

It's a shame you have to buy a pair, but both modules in this kit are identical.

I added one to my network, and it paired and works perfectly (albeit at the same speed of the existing network)

Just got mine and they are to replace a slow Dlink set of EOP devices. The TL-PA9020P sure sped up the network. Just wonder if the WiFi extender TL-WPA8630P can be paired with these devices??
