Totally fantastic product. Very versatile, and would suit so many different setups - from home to business. Yes the setup isn't quite as easy as a consumer product, but well worth it. Brings back connection twice as fast as my old TP-Link, internet is much more stable and no dropouts. Being able to customise the unit to suit is amazing, has features you'd expect to pay $500+ to get! Totally fantastic product. The router supplied by my ISP started struggling as soon as the whole family was working and learning from home. I was getting a lot of DNS issues that could only be fixed with a router reboot. I replaced the ISP router with this little Ubiquiti one. It has been in for 3 weeks now and has been working flawlessly. I have also had a Ubiquiti wireless AP for about 3 years and that has proved to be very reliable is well. All in all I am extremely happy with the two Ubiquiti units I have. I bought this router to replace the PPPoE function on my ASUS RT-AC58U which was cutting out every day. This is much more stable and comes back online extremely quickly after a disconnection. We're using BigPipe Fibre.

Setup was super easy, just followed the wizard for a PPPoE connection, took 5 minutes.

Used for Home LAN setup in combination with a AC750 for about a month now.
A bit of a mission to setup but watched a few youtube vids and managed to get it up and running.

For the price this device provides high level business entry grade networking at a fraction of the cost for an overprised router from most other popular brands.
Sure its no Meraki, Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, Sonicwall, Checkpoint. But it can match some of the mentioned and exceed nearly most other brands.
My network security and configureability just went up 10 folder at 1/6th of the price of a high end home router.
Definitally be back for more Ubiquiti stuff.

Do note its not intuitive for the average user.
And I would recommend writing a firewall rule to disable remote management however. Thats the biggest complaint I could find.

No built in option to disable remote management which is a risk.

After successfully configuring this device it was working great - until I accidentally plugged in an active POE injector which fired it. Up to that point it was working fine and showed up on the Unifi network, all ports were active and operating as expected. Recommended if you are not as silly as me - though I'd also review the USG as well, since that was more than sufficient for my needs and let me replace the fibre modem. Since these devices are generally well priced and I wrote this one off as a learning experience. I would probably look at the next device up if I was to purchase something similar, only because it has more ports. This device was better than I’d hoped on all fronts. It is highly configurable and the built in switch makes it a very cost-effective, versatile solution. I wanted a NAT loopback option too, and this works well.

I particularly like the user interface, and the built-in wizards will do everything most users need without further configuration.
