The Ubiquiti APs are now super easy to install with Ubiquiti's phone Apps. This is my second AP and it was configured and working flawlessly within 30 seconds of it being installed and powered on. Bought on Black Friday sale and even then the price is still expensive in compare to other stores but other than that, it's a great product and it work well with the rest of Ubiquity devices. Great coverage, easily managed (see cons), cheaper than the LR model (I have a couple of the LR models, but around home these are as good and cheaper), hugely configurable (I am running 4 WIFI networks through mine)

Context possibly matters but I was using this in conjunction with a Ubiquiti USG and Unifi controller software and in this context it works wonderfully. The UAP needed a firmware update before I could use it which went relatively smoothly, although probably not for basic users. I can't comment on how this works outside of the Unifi ecosystem.. Got sick of the wifi regularly dropping out on the FritzBox that came with 2degrees fibre. Splashed out on one of these three weeks ago, and haven't had a single interruption since. This must have been the most easiest AP/internet item I have ever had the pleasure of using. Made an account signed in plugged in the unit filled out some basic info and it's done massive range which is why I brought it . Dont waste your time with any other AP units buy this and enjoy. Controller software is excellent (get the cloud stick or install on a PC at home, I used a Docker image which was trivial to set up).

Added this Ubiquiti AP AC Lite to be a second access point to compliment the AC LR I have in the middle of my home. This Lite one is for a sleepout office. This one got adopted and provisioned by the Ubiquiti software easily, copying settings from my first access point. Works perfectly.
