I bought the Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-AC-LITE AC1200 Access Point but struggled to get the setup completed using the mobile app. It was not easy to follow and often would not pair with the access points. I brought it back and exchanged it for the Deco TP Link access points instead. Thank You to Tiana for recommending the Deco TP Link product to me. She was very knowlegeable and explained the specs to me. PB Tech is fortunate to have her as she is always helpful and willing to go the extra mile with a lot of patience. Tricky to install on ceiling and spent hours trying to configure this WAP. This is my first Unifi product so that might explain things.

WiFi coverage is average, not nearly as strong as the new Spark Smart Modem, that thing is amazing. Have installed WAP in garage, where it works well, but as soon as you leave the room (internal garage) the reception drops considerably. A bit disappointing.

I have a few of these around my house and they are honestly amazing. i have used other AP for the bad WiFi coverage i get in my home but these bad boys are what i need all along. Great product once its working, but you do need to download Java , which can cause its own issues (Port 8080) and only use Google Chrome to run it , as the security certificates don't work and you can bypass this on Chrome.
