Having already got a good mesh network covering all internal areas of our house, this was purchased solely to provide a strong and stable connection for a doorbell camera. Other than one drop out overnight, directly after installation, it has done exactly what was needed. In that regard I'm very happy with the purchase, however I would say that set up was not as straight forward as the manual would have you believe. Once in the set up genie it was easy, but getting there was a chore. One star off for that, but otherwise it's been a great, cost effective solution. Picked up the weak signal internal wifi signal at the far end of the house from the router and strengthened it enough to cover security cameras on the outside. Excellent product. This is a solid, no-frills wireless extender at a good price. I have purchased this unit in the past, and know that it will last for years. No complaints. Brought 2 thinking I'd need both to get wifi in my shed. Only needed one as it has really good range. Great product, super easy to set up. Had it working in about 5 mins. My TP Link Extender broke after a year of using it. I wanted something that isn't as big as the TP Link and found this. Gave it a chance and it worked wonders! So easy to set up as well! I was up and internetting in less than 5 mins. Great product, does what it says on the box. Follow the easy instructions and you will have wifi signal where you couldn't before.

Please be aware that this device although it is called an extender, it actually extends by creating a separate wifi signal that has a similar name.
If you were wanting a device that sends the same signal as your wifi router so you can roam your mansion an not have to change wifi connections when moving from the billiard room to the pool house (like in large commercial businesses or hotels), then this is not the device you are looking for. If you were wanting a device that sends the same signal as your wifi router so you can roam your mansion an not have to change wifi connections when moving from the billiard room to the pool house (like in large commercial businesses or hotels), then this is not the device you are looking for. You'll need to spend more $$$ and possibly hire a IT geek to install it.

We thought it was not working for the first couple of times and started again. Then we waited and it connected. Instructions were easy to follow and has made a huge difference in terms of reaching parts of our house that were not getting good connection earlier. Certainly worth the price. Highly recommended.
