This does exactly what it was meant to do and has made our WIFI signal very strong in an area where it was very weak! It took us a little while to set up and we found setting it up through a laptop to be much easier rather than setting it up through your phone web browser. We also love how small and neat it looks, it isn't bulky and looks quite tidy and chic. Definitely would recommend to all! So easy to set up! We now have great WiFi strength from anywhere in our house. Great for the kids doing remote learning. They can do there work in their rooms instead of out in the main area of the house. No fighting for space. Before we had the extender the connection was not very strong & would drop out. Bought this to extend the wifi range, as we live in a 3 story house and the wifi can't get through the walls to reach the top floor (where my room is).

Pros:
- VERY easy set up. Plug into the wall and push a button on the router to connect. Then move to the desired midpoint to extend the signal. Took less than 5 minutes.

- Does what I want it to. Now have internet connectivity on the top floor for all devices.

- Runs seamlessly and doesn't drop out. No problems at all with connectivity

- Extends both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands.

- We have between 8-11 devices connected to our router all at once and no issues

Cons:

Cons:
- The 5ghz range is weaker (as expected for the faster yet shorter wavelength), so those looking for super high speeds may need a stronger/more expensive range extender to get full use of their 5ghtz if they are far away from the router. (If you are that obsessed with internet speed you could just move closer to the router I guess.)

Overall: Perfect for me.
My needs are met just fine on 2.4ghz for what I need and runs HD Streaming, all devices, Netlflix, Youtube, downloads and uploads etc. I can always move downstairs closer to the router if I absolutely need every MBps of bandwidth. I have full signal for 2.4ghz and 4/5bars for 5ghz in an area where previously there was absolutely no internet connection - so pretty happy. I can now use the internet in my own room and watch netflix in bed so... Worth it.

Didn't work for me. Setup software is not available on the netgear site (dead link), no support from netgear to resolve, emails unanswered and epic amounts of time wasted.
