Cost effective way to get better wifi coverage around the house, fairly easy set up via the tether app (didn't try the wps option) no drop outs or issues so far after about 4 weeks of use. The only issue for some people might be the unit blocks the second socket of a double outlet making it unusable. Not the fastest range extender but it does support the 5ghz band which is a huge deal for me. The app works well and the setup is as easy as it gets. This is a good wifi extender. I did need to extend by much mostly used as I can plug a cable in to it to move one of my hubs more central for security cameras This is a good wifi extender. We previously had a netgear extender and this caused so many problems from the start. Updated to this TP-link one and was surprised how easy the set up and connection was. Purchased to expand (mesh) our wireless to accommodate wifi CCTV system. Setup through the Tether app was easy as. Definitely recommend this off the back of a compatible router.
