The WPS button set up didn't work but after downloading the Tether app the set up was done in minutes. The back of my house had a weak spot but is now as strong as near the main router. Turned on and configured within minutes. Great for my need. Connected it to main WiFi router SSID using 2.4GHz and then renamed the extender's 5GHz SSID to the same as main WiFi router's SSID, so now my 5GHz clients have great coverage at the other end of the house. My wi-fi did not reach all of my house as I had hoped. Access to the internet is important to my family so we really wanted access from all parts of home if possible. This wifi extender replaces one of a different brand that failed after one year. The TP-Link was so easy to set up and the range its most impressive. Great value. Does what it needed to it, not the strongest WiFi signal but more than enough for what I needed.

I am very satisfied with this extender. It has effectively turned a former Wi-Fi dead zone into a high-speed area with a rock-solid connection.

While there is a slight expected drop due to the distance, 80 Mbps is more than enough for high-speed browsing and streaming. Most importantly, I have experienced zero connection drops since installing it.

If you have a large layout and need to push your signal through several walls, this is a fantastic solution. It’s easy to manage, consistent, and delivers on its promises.

The original router is of Spark Company which is not supported for mesh Wi-Fi but the tp link extender is supposed to have mesh wifi option that I could not use.

The location assistant and other features and functions of the Tether App (android I think it's available in iOS too) is impressive

I needed to replace my old Wi-Fi access point with something more secure and up-to-date. This one was very easy to install and configure. This is an excellent product that is working really, really well. Even in the low-power setting, the coverage is excellent. I would highly recommend this product and PBTech's price was awesome.

One surprising feature: we have a range of mobile devices attached to our network, some quite old but still very reliable. Some of them were now unable to connect to our old access point but now, all of them are operating fine again alongside all the new ones. The 5 GHz connection is very stable. Wonderful !!!!
