Had a problem with weak WiFi signal in a two-storey house with thick concrete floor. This little extender solved the problem nicely and was very easy to install. Good helpful advice from the Henderson Express store on Railside Ave. I'm glad they didn't try to sell me a more expensive one that would have been more than I needed. Will not boost the signal for a Ring camera, lots of info online (I found after purchase) stating these units can not be connected to a Ring camera, the fault being with the ring camera. Never bothered to test it with any other devices, but im sure it would be OK. Super easy to set up, does its job as advertised, Connects to my Wi-Fi from my home office in the garage (separate building) and now have no issues working from home. Does Teams calls etc with no problems at all, super reliable. Love it! Coincidentally, finally got around to installing it yesterday. Seems to work well so far. Deducted a little of the rating star for the install documentation issues. Super pleased with this purchase. Took a bit to set it up the first time but it works perfectly! The range is definately very good. I have a little cabin at the back of the house and the network was really poor there. I have plugged the extender in the cabin and the main router is in the lounge about 20 metres away with thick walls and the speed is great for streaming HD videos. Definately recomment this. I read a review of this wee beastie a few months ago and then dithered about making the purchase. Having signals drop (always at the critical moments in a program) got to me finally; so I re-read the review and invested in this extender. Easy set up -= even those who a phobia about tech shouldn't have a problem! and boy, what a difference. worth every red cent I can assure you!

I have just replaced my Netgear wifi extender with the tp-link AC1750. OMG what a difference!
Ten minutes to set up via the Tether app and a strong signal now all through the house.
You do need a phone you can download the app to but it works amazingly well!
Pros: arrived quickly once ordered, clear instructions in the box, simple set up, strong signal.
