Works just fine. I don't have a large amount of previous mousepads to compare it to, but I've only ever used the thick ones with the built in wrist rest prior. Rolls out fine, and give heaps of area to mouse around in. It's big enough that I use it as a non-slip surface for my keyboard as well as mouse pad, there's plenty space to do both. It's comfortable on the palm, brushes clean really easy, and does not move an inch once set the desktop. Works just fine.
