Initial testing looks good, my intention is to use it for Astro photography, just waiting on software guys to modify their code for the Pi4B
These Pi4B's need cooling to work reasonably and I expect life span will increase if cooled.

Need options for cooling , and cases:
Please get in stocks of cases , choices of heat sinks, small suitable fans, noting there is fan hat already on the market.
With the cases, get the FLIRC's and cases with fans.

Not much else to say other than it fulfills it's purpose as housing for the Pi4. Very easy access. I've since discovered the need for a heatsink for the Pi4, so it will be interesting to see if the heatsink fits within this chassis without any challenge. I purchased the Pi4 to replace the Pi 3 model B purely for the increased processing power and the USB3 ports for fast media transfer. In summary, not at all disappointed with the purchase, however you may want to invest in the heatsink, as streaming 4K video raises the temps, as does simply transferring large files over the network onto a USB3 connected device. More power in the Pi is just what was needed. Put one to work as a security camera monitor, the extra CPU can handle more cameras. It's a good charger for raspberry pis and phones, but it's a terrible experience on the other end (the non-usb c side) of the charger.

Who thought it was a good idea to put a circle along the base of the charger, so you can cause a literal fire by plugging it in next to other plugs? I've used this for around 2 years, and have always come across this issue. You can't plug it in with ANY other plugs, no matter how big or small. Let's take the standard double vertical power socket for example. Try putting it on the bottom with another plug at the top, nope, the prongs are showing, the top, prongs are still showing. It's not even like that extra plastic is used, it's only a mm high, so there aren't actually any wires in it or anything, it's just to annoy you I guess.

Also, you can't just unplug the USB C part and use that, because they thought it was a good idea to connect it to the plug, so you can't salvage anything from the plug.

The only pro is that it's a decently high-quality USB-C cable for the price.

As the title says, a nice toy to try out various Linux distros. This is also great for developers or programmers. The Pi does not have the power to replace a desktop unless email and web browsing is all you do. I was disappointed that most of my external hard drives were not recognized by the Pi.

In summary, nice toy, but not more than that. So as a toy, I'd give this 5 stars, as a computer I'd give it 3 - but here I give it 4 stars. The raspberry pi 4 is a substantial upgrade over previous models, especially including the chipset and firmware. Unfortunately most of the more niche features, like 64 bit OSes, USB booting, and booting into anything other than Raspbian Buster just aren't here yet, and there's no ETA on when any of it is coming.
Outside of synthetic benchmarks, the performance isn't anything crazy either. Pushing it to it's graphical limits with Minecraft: Java edition is barely an improvement over the Raspberry Pi 3, and YouTube playback in the browser is terrible. Though these both could be improved with software updates.

Thermal performance is concerning, as the summer months come along I would expect more thermal throttling without a heat sink of sorts. With previous generations, it was optional. It's not anymore.
In my personal experience, powering the pi4 is difficult as well. Most standard usb power supplies tend to taper off at 2.4A, anything higher is often using a form of fast charging, which the pi doesn't support.
