Great little PC for hobbyists. Brings back my command line days, of x286 and x386 days with DOS, however uses Linux. Relatively easy to setup following online guides, and connect to Wi-Fi, then away you go. If you are not used to command line instructions, would pay to google how to use prior to purchase as there are not much instructions etc. Great little PC for hobbyists. The Raspberry Pi 4B 8gb is a great unit. The extra memory is worth the extra cost. Not that the 4gb version is slow... But more memory equals better performance generally.

If you buy a Raspberry Pi of any sort buy the genuine power supply and get some heat sinks. Depending how much you load it up a case fan can be a good investment to keep it cool as possible. I've tried other power supplies in the past with Raspberry Pi's and they can cause issues. I've now setup 3 Raspberry Pi 4's with these power supplies and haven't experienced any issues. Excellent for NES, SNES and PS1 emulation, and basically all emulators from before that with the exception of N64.

I could not run N64 very well on this (some games work, like Mario Kart, other games like Ocarina of Time were laggy during the cut scenes and not worth it.)

PS1 is perfect though.

You will need to overclock a little bit to run N64 games. Excellent for NES, SNES and PS1 emulation, and basically all emulators from before that with the exception of N64.
