With increased power and complexity... the costs do go up. I love this Pi but I'm not sure what market it's now in. As a desktop it does surprisingly well. If you are going to control something with the GPIO pins I'm not sure you need to go to the 8GB version With increased power and complexity... the costs do go up. I've had this for a couple of weeks powering my Raspberry Pi 4 SBC and so far it has not disappointed. Would recommend. Haven't had any issues with it so far. I bought this as a low-power desktop replacement for web surfing and for playing around with data analytics and to learn Linux. I have used it for a couple of weeks and with a fast SD card, it seems very responsive, especially compared to the Pi 3.
