Good speaker, decent sound, great battery! I had trouble with a JBL Flip 5, didn't connect right and lots of issues. This speaker has no such connection issues and produces really good sound and the battery last quite a while. Plus, can charge your phone off of it in a pinch! Hi have had the JBL Flip 4 and 5, both pretty good, but this Charge 5 goes even further in terms of sound quality. From my perspective is a well balanced speaker, loud and clear. The battery life didn't surprised me as the Flip 5 did, maybe I just got used to that great autonomy. In terms of size and weight I'd say it's worth the upgrade from a smaller speaker, you will notice easily that you're carrying it with you but is not annoying at all.

Great speaker. Great overall tones including bass. You will hear the difference compared to the JBL Clip 4 or other smaller speakers. Charges fairly quickly and has very long battery life. I get a lot of static with this speaker, im sure the speakers themselves are good since they are so big but I cant test it because it sounds like a radio that's slightly out of tune.

Its particularly bad when Im trying to play audio books for some reason and no I don't get this with any of my other Bluetooth devices and only very slightly with my old 1st gen UE Boom.
