TP-Link Tapo P100 Mini Smart Wi-Fi Plug

These work well with the Tapo app and Google Assistant. They connected fast (and first time) using the Tapo app, no hub required with these ones works off 2.4ghz wifi (not 5ghz as far as I can tell). There is a small on/off button at the top of the unit which you may not be able to see from this website or the bo but you can use this as a manual switch. Small, narrow form-factor so you can use them on a typical NZ double plug side-by-side. I use these for my Xmas tree lights and string lights outside on the deck (they aren't weatherproof for outside use, so ensure they are properly protected from the moisture/sun/weather/etc . Works exactly as intended. Easy to set up with tapi app. Bought 4 of them to turn all my lounge lamps on with one switch via Google home. Also works with voice control.
For some reason buying individually is cheaper than buying a 4 pack.

I am a great fan of Tapo products and the associated Tapo app. I already have 15 smart Tapo devices to automate my home so setting up an additional device was easy as. Simple integration with Google Home and Alexa as well. The Tapo app is so intuitive to use. Now I can switch my appliances on and off and monitor their status from anywhere. Much improved on the older version by being smaller, and fitting just fine next to other normally spaced plugs.
