Purchased this 8 Port Unmanaged Switch about a month ago to replace an older Cisco 10/100mb unit as I wanted to upgrade my system to a fully Gigabit network without breaking the bank. The TP-Link TL-SG1008D 8 Port Gigabit Switch was the last item I needed to complete it. The unit has proved to be a great asset and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a reliable gigabit switch. PB Tech provided great service and price as usual. Always my first place to go. I purchased this switch as my old 4 port one did not do the job. It was too slow and I needed more outlets. I now have six outlets in use including Apple TV, computers, printer, TV, sound system etc. All work remarkably well. Pity the lights are on the back as it would be nice to be able to which ports are in use form the front. I purchased this switch as my old 4 port one did not do the job.
