Beware that this device unlike CCwGTV does not have audio passthrough. This means that even if you have a content source that uses Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, the Streamer will convert it to a PCM stream, which can limit the audio quality and capabilities of your home theater setup. Been using for only a few days, but has totally renewed our TV. Old 4k samsung where only Netflix would work, all other apps would crash all the time. Bought this as I wanted something with Ethernet to make streaming high bitrate files possible and this works great. Setup was seamless, had to restart once after a bunch of updates which made prime video a bit laggy but no issues otherwise. Been using for only a few days, but has totally renewed our TV. I had purchased this as I moved the SmartVu unit from the lounge to the office. I had Google TV Streamer 4K on for an NBA game. It locked up 3 times in the first half. I would say it's the Microsoft NBA app, but when I went back to the Smart TV, no more issues. No I would not recomend. I had purchased this as I moved the SmartVu unit from the lounge to the office.
