Solid product but...

I bought APC as it is a reputable brand at a fair price, replacing another UPS that had started sounding the warning bleeps for a failing battery. The problem is that neither PB Techs technical description nor material supplied with the UPS state whether or how the battery can be replaced. On the previous UPS the battery connections were soldered in. Can the battery be replaced on the APC UPS? I don't know. If it can't then that is an indictment on the manufacturer as one would presume the circuit board is fine. So, i can only give the UPS four stars, not five,

APC just works

You can get better capacity for the money but you always pay the price with your time. I have an old Dynamix UPS that I just replaced batteries on and it took me an entire day to get it to work on Linux with NUT. The APC, I connected the UPS cable (not included!!!), selected APC and the rest of the options and "ping" it was online and managed byt my server.

The delivery time-frame (in days) for each product we sell is detailed on the individual product page just to the right of the main product image. From when you place your order, for DHL express delivery in-stock products typically arrive within 2-3 working days for metro areas and 3-5 working days for rural areas. For Standard delivery in-stock products typically arrive within 3-7 working days for NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD and SA deliveries and 5-10 working days for WA, TAS and NT.

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
