Very nice piece of kit and good insurance if you live where the mains might be unreliable.
I chose not to use the automated shutdown for my computer as the required plugin for this utilises Java which is a security risk. Manufacturer in Australia was less than helpful in this regard.

I got this because I was sick to death of the internet going dead time after time, at least three or four times every week, usually right in the middle of some crucial piece of research. This power massager has prevented almost all further blackouts, with only one brief incident since installation. I had even tried calling Contact Energy over the problem, thinking the wiring in the house was suspect. Their dismissive response, with a threat of a $200 callout fee if the technician found nothing wrong, was entirely unhelpful and predictable. With this battery equipped surge protector, with an LCD panel showing input and output voltages, battery charge and power issue status, gives a very reassuring level of confidence in the safety and efficacy of my electrical equipment. And the price is way less than the Contact Energy callout fee! I was so pleased I bought two of them, one for my computer (except for the printer, do not use it for that!) and one for my TV and home theatre system. So my valuable stuff is well protected, and now functions reliably, at no continuing cost as well.

I read the Manual did everything right an run smooth then i turn my second Gamming rig on an BANG ...Kill the second Rig ..Turn out bye a friend overload ..On the Main power these unit are use on newer Wire not a old home wiring .So I lost couple power supply an a few other parts i am lucky i got spare .How ever second Rig Board damage so .Now i need to buy part from PB Tech i am returning this item learn a big lession here . Do reseach first before i go buy something ..
