I use it to keep a NAS and mesh router running during brief power outages that are common in high winds in my area. It has enough battery and a USB connector to the NAS to perform a graceful shutdown if required.
It also privides surge protector for printer.

I bought this unit to protect the NAS that I bought. It's a huge bonus that I have battery back up for my NAS, modem and fibre network box and siege protection for my TV, sound bar and sub. Living off-grid comes with the challenge of voltage drops due to water pumps turning on. I'm using this to make sure my PlayStation doesn't cut out every time the water turns on. I have gone through two PS4s because the electronics are very sensitive. Since getting this beauty, my game has not been affected. I highly recommend this item and wish I had purchased it earlier.

The Powershield software is just awful to use. The user management, as well as the senseless prompts that can't be turned off. If you have a scheduled test, it only emails the first part, ie test start. Does not email you if it passes or fails. The software provider said not to test it.

If there are several power events, the popup happens on the first, and never changes. For unmanned computer, this is stupid. I ended up turning it off altogether.

All of the screens use the word Browse instead of open or view. Simply doesn't make sense.

Does a great job at keeping our fibre connection online when the power (frequently) goes out. Unfortunately, when the power goes out, it also beeps every 30 seconds and slowly drives everybody in the house mad. Would be a perfect 5 stars if not for the constant screeching! This is exactly what I was looking for. It has already done its job after accidentally pulling out the power plug while running a program on my frequency healing machine. There's not a lot that can go wrong with a UPS apart from it not working. My place of work has used the same unit as the ups to manage fibre+router+voip server for several years, which it has done so with little issue. Not the cheapest option but the spit of 3 filter+UPS & 3 filter sockets is very useful for a small IT setup. Here's the good / meh / bad of it.

Good
* Simple to setup. Just charge up, then plug stuff in.
* No issue hooking it up to a NAS, which it what I got it for. My Qnap picked it up right away and updated it's setting to work with it.

Meh
* Only LED's for status. Not a dealbreaker, but seeing cheaper units with backlit LCD shows how old the design is.
* The sockets are standard wall socket width apart, so if you have any devices that rely on 'wall wart' power supply, you're going to have to include a powerboard in your setup.

Bad
* No UPS is small, but it's still chunky and heavy thanks to the lead acid battery and takes up a decent amount of space when you start plugging things in. You would need very careful where you mount it if you want to hang it off a wall (they print a drilling template on the box to help with that.) The design means that it won't fit on to a shelf like the more common brick style options. Laying it on it's back might be okay, I don't like the idea of its battery operating in the wrong orientation.
* The LAN socket is blocked off. Likely redundant since most people these days have fibre / mobile to the outside world and 1Gb networking at a minimum, so I'm not bothered by the loss. We still have phone sockets, though.
* The packaging stated there should have been a CD of software. No CD, but given how many people don't even have an optical drive in any of their computers now, perhaps not worth it. The software should be on their website (not looked) and is likely redundant if you're hooking in to a device that is aware of UPS devices.

Overall, I'm pleased with the SafeGuard and expect that it will protect my home network for many years to come.

Great unit. Had bought to use with a PC recently. I found out though, the Lan port is not Gigabyte and only 100Mbps.
