Cruxtec USB 3.0 to HDMI Display Adaptor

This device does work well and it allowed me to add a 4th screen onto my laptop.
Only early days but so far so good as have only used it for less than a week.
However reducing by 2 stars as Windows 10 did not automatically detect this device and hard to find drivers. The device showed up as a Webcam.
Was not able to find manufactures drivers for this device after a fairly extensive search. Would be good if PBTech could supply a link to them.
Eventually discovered drivers that did work: Fresco Logics USB 3.0 to VGA/DVI/HDMI Driver at https://support.frescologic.com/portal/en/kb/articles/usb-3-0-v.

This was based on Device ID USB\VID_1D5C&PID_2000 but would not expect the average user to be able to work this out and it is unlikely these are the official drivers.
I have seen my screen go blank for half a second a couple of times but have not ruled out a loose cable or some other environment fault but mentioning it for completeness.

Work purchased this to use with a laptop. No driver instructions included - was lucky another reviewer above has included the driver information and a link, otherwise would have taken a long time to find them myself. Installed the drivers, and have reinstall them every so often to stop the incessant flashing. Only good if what you want is a monitor as a full screen electronic picture frame displaying a static image. I needed this to connect a 2nd monitor on my laptop(with ports one HDMI - in use for 1st monitor, usb C without video compatibility, usb 3.0 - trying to use this ). Managed to get it to work but the drivers provided for the adapter have a very limited resolution, 800x600 which does not server the purpose of having a 2nd monitor. The resolution only allows one valid mode - Fresco Logic IDDCX Adapter 800x600, True Color 32 bit, which is really really bad on a 24 inch monitor.
