Be sure your USB keyboard supports PS/2 mode - this is just an adapter

Bought two of these adapters to connect USB keyboards to old systems. In NO CASES did this work for me.
Tried four USB keyboards:
- Dell corded circa 2018
- Logitech corded circa 2015
- Logitech wireless circa 2014
- HP KU-0316 USB keyboard circa 2009

Tried these KBs on four different PCs with PS/2 ports:
- an old embedded system with a Vortex86 CPU (mouse/kb ps/2 combo)
- Gigabyte H55M (mouse/kb ps2 combo port)
- Gigabyte Z370 (combo mouse/kb ps2 port)
- MSI K7T266 (separate mouse and kb ps2 ports)

These did NOT work. Managed to find an old kb with a ps/2 plug, this WORKED fine in all cases. This StarTech adapter NEVER worked....view more

From when you place your order, for DHL express delivery in-stock products typically arrive within 2-3 working days for metro areas and 3-5 working days for rural areas. For Standard delivery in-stock products typically arrive within 3-7 working days for NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD and SA deliveries and 5-10 working days for WA, TAS and NT.

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
