My friend thought he had scored a great bargain at a garage sale with an unused ergonomic keyboard. He was so excited until he went to plug it in! Then he found it was PS/2. Thanks again PBTECH for helping bail him out. his newfound joy with his new keyboard is a delight to see. It didnt work. I tried it in 2 laptops and both the keyboard I wanted it for nor a mouse it could be used for. Both laptops said it didn't recognise the device. Since it took several trips in to find the device I gave up trying to save the planet by reusing a keyboard It didnt work. Was attempting to get an adapter that would allow me to use my old mouse [round plug] in a new computer [flat plug]. Didn't work as computer wouldn't recognise the device. Sought help from in-house experts but couldn't resolve. It was then suggested that I purchase the following - https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/ADPSTT690380/StarTech-USB-to-PS2-Keyboard-and-Mouse-Adapter . Apparently this thing needs extra circuitry to convert the PS2 to USB. Whatever it needs it doesn't have it because it didn't work on a windows 10 device, and it probably is most definitely not going to work on a Windows 11 device Apparently this thing needs extra circuitry to convert the PS2 to USB.
