I've had huge issues with our internet but didn't have the port to be able to hardwire in. This adapter has worked great and I never have any issues when I use it. This device is 1Gbs for 1000base-T devices else defaults to 100Mbs for 100base-t devices.
Works well for windows 10 at 100Mbs testing with ping to my wireless router.
Got a usb-c female to usb-A male adapter to use ethernet adapter on my new 5g USB 3.0 phone which can work at 1Gbs but router at 100 MBS.
Didnt thinking it was working as was greyed out in usb tethering, and no notifications that phone was even recognising it.
But SSHelper android app config showed "ethernet" and ping also worked in its terminal showing about 100Mbs.
