Belkin BoostCharge Lightning to USB-A Cable - 2m - Black

I tried to update my wife's iPad via plugging into a laptop using the USB cable supplied by Apple, and got a nasty shock when it turned out it isn't great for data and left her device stuck in recovery mode. Bought this cable and it worked perfectly - synced the iPad and successfully updated it. If you need a Lightning cable that can charge and sync, then choose this one. The cable is good, rather than excellent because we find it to be quite stiff compared to the real Apple cable. It is not as flexible, so harder to manage. We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 18 year old. He loved it and has made so much use of it already. The thing that I loved is that this product has allowed us give new life to a piece of unwanted and unused tech. My mother’s small, flatscreen TV can be converted to an e-TV using the Belkin Boostcharge. Being able to effectively reuse old technology is important to us so this purchase was a win-win and great value for money. We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 18 year old. I’ve had issues with lightning cables failing to charge iPads after a while — the contacts wear out, or some play is introduced that causes the charge to stop flowing. These cables feel very solid with a very snug fit, and worked when other cables didn’t.
