Works great for connecting older HDMI ported monitors and graphics tablets to superior DisplayPort sockets for better sharper resolution and extended cable distance. I've paired mine with some cruxtec Male DP to Female HDMI converters and it works like a dream, giving me more distance to work with on not only my older Asus monitor but my Huion Kamvas 13 graphics tablet too.
