Does the job
It works, only tested at 1080p 60hz, but I've no issues. Price is steeper than other joiners, but Dynamix has not failed me on quality yet

Connected two male HDMI connections
Not sure what else to say - it connected as expected. Not using it for 4K or similar, so can't comment on how it handles high-end signals.
