Razer Kiyo Webcam Full HD 1080P Streaming Camera - Optimized for Youtube/Twitch - Worlds First In-Built Ring Light

I love this webcam. From the really good low light performance to the crystal clear images.
It is absolutely the best one out there.
There are a couple of things to note tho, it does have focus hunting issues. You can override this using the software, but on auto-focus, it hunts like crazy periodically.
The ultra cool thing I found with it is it has a generic mount for a tripod on the base, so you can set it up on a camera tripod. I love this webcam. From the really good low light performance to the crystal clear images.

Thirdly, and most annoyingly, the Razer software to be downloaded for the camera contains a component which Microsoft Defender on my (work) computer insists contains a virus and no matter how hard I instruct my anti-virus software to ignore and accept it, it will not install or run. I assume it’s a false positive, but I cannot get past it. There is no clear instruction on their website on how to resolve this, and the software is downloaded fro Razer’s site itself. This is very annoying.

I have purchased high end (similar price point) Logitech webcams before and they look pretty good but this one takes the cake. Best image quality I've ever had from a webcam. I needed a webcam that delivered great quality video. The Razer produces great, clear video and has the added bonus of a built in light. Perfect if you're not up for getting a full lighting set-up just yet but still want to come across with a professional look. Been great so far. Highly recommend. Having now used this webcam for several weeks it really does stand up to the pricetag. Being able to stream and record high quality video at 720p60 is fantastic. It's a great camera.
The only sticking point was that it's not compatible with MacOS out of the box - you need to install a third party app to make it go. But it goes well. It's a great camera.

I bought this in 2021 and out of sudden its given me errors and its cam light glitch and flicking alot and the USB port is not recognising the camera. Good camera that works with both my mac and PC. I never thought I'd use the ring light but it is actually quite handy for a low light environment. The Razer software that it tried to autoinstall was bit annoying, but you can just disable it once and then never think about it again. Good camera that works with both my mac and PC. I decided to purchase this for online classes and streaming, on my first week of using it I fell in love with it! I love the built-in ring light, it helps me to be seen when it's too dark and when the camera is not focusing on me. Online class is now easier for me to do presentations with the 720p 60FPS camera settings!
