KBS Rustseal Rust Preventive Grey - 500ml

RustSeal is a single component, ready to use, high solid content, moisture-curing urethane.

Step 3 in the KBS 3 Step Total Rust Eradication System.

RustSeal is specifically formulated to stop and encapsulate existing rust and corrosion, and prevent new surfaces from developing rust. The coating has a low initial viscosity that wets and penetrates the surface to the origin of the rust. By using it's moisture curing mechanism, RustSeal combines with atmospheric moisture to start the curing process of the resins expanding and interlocking within the pores of the rust. This unique process literally enables the coating to galvanize itself to the material, becoming an integral part of the surface.

While RustSeal will indeed provide superior rust protection when coated directly over a minimally prepared surface, only the unique 3 Step Total Rust Eradication System offers the proper surface preparation and unmatched rust stopping power. While the KBS coating has a moderate level of UV stability, the finish will dull and fade if exposed for extended periods to direct sunlight. RustSeal can be top-coated with any topcoat system you choose for a bright, lasting shine finish.

Rust Seal Colours

RustSeal is available in a variety of colours suitable for any project. While RustSeal has a moderate level of UV stability, the finish will dull and fade if exposed for extended periods to direct sunlight. RustSeal can be top coated with any topcoat system you choose for a bright, lasting finish.

- GLOSS BLACK: This strikingly rich black finish is a popular choice for all automotive restoration applications. With a long lasting wet shine!
- SATIN BLACK: A rich chassis finish for those wanting to look 'original'. This vibrant black coating has a low lustre uniform sheen which is comparable to OEM finishes.
- SILVER: Enriched with a solidifying metal flake. Ideal for heavily pitted surfaces. Ideal for industrial applications due to its high abrasion resistance.
- GREY: A medium grey coloured coating that cures to a smooth diamond hard finish! Ideal for sealing & protecting steel, concrete, cinder blocks, warehouse floors, plywood and more!

Shipping Security and Insurance

All orders shipped by PB Tech are sent via a courier with a signature required for each delivery. All orders sent by PB Tech are fully insured in the unlikely event that your item(s) are damaged or go missing in transit.

From when you place your order, for DHL express delivery in-stock products typically arrive within 2-3 working days for metro areas and 3-5 working days for rural areas. For Standard delivery in-stock products typically arrive within 3-7 working days for NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD and SA deliveries and 5-10 working days for WA, TAS and NT.

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.

Please note, items purchased on finance cannot be exchanged for a gift card.
