Building a compact desktop host is a lot of fun, but there are also a lot of trade-offs to be made. While the size of the chassis shrinks, the compatibility/heat dissipation/installation experience also increases, so only a few experienced users have a clear idea of how to build it and the ability to assemble it. In this regard, we are constantly thinking about how to optimize the design to maintain a compact hardware layout while improving internal hardware compatibility, so that more users can ultimately experience the practicality and fun of miniaturized models:

The total space from the back panel to the bottom of the card is 89mm, and you can choose a compatible bottom fan according to the thickness of the card (Example: with some cards, the bottom may be compatible with 12015 specification fans or no fan installed).

Innovative Design: Removable PCI-E Fixing Piece to Optimize the Installation Experience for Longer Graphics Cards

In order to optimize the installation experience of long graphics cards (length of > 345mm), the removable PCI-E position fixing strip is designed to optimize the installation experience of long graphics cards (length of > 345mm, which is not easy to fit into the case, and it can be inserted into the case without the need of complicated disassembling of the chassis first.

Adjustable Graphics Card Support Bracket

Relieve the front end of long graphics cards from sagging due to gravity, and can be used according to the actual matching of hardware.

When installing the graphics card support bracket, the bottom of the chassis hardware can be compatible with the combination for:

Supports 240 high-performance water cooling with =30mm thickness of the cooler

Installation can be accomplished by pulling out the bracket, which effectively reduces the difficulty of hardware installation in a small space. With the precise dimensioning, even a 60mm thick (cooling plate + fan) performance 240 all-in-one water cooler can be mounted inside the Z20.

Compatible with high performance air-cooled tower coolers =160mm in height

Combined with a top-mounted 12cm x2 or 14cm x2 fan and a rear-mounted 12cm fan, it can quickly remove heat from the CPU.

* When installing Intel CPU, the heat sink has a height limit of 164mm; When installing AMD CPU, the heat sink is limited to a height of 163mm. Please pay attention to the selection of matching options.

Optional Power Supply Mounting Modes

ATX power supply vertical mounting mode
Supports 4 levels of height mounting

SFX / SFX-L power supply side mounting mode
This mode does not interfere with water cooling and graphics card hardware.

SFX / SFX-L power supply vertical mounting mode
Requires the use of the SFX to ATX adapter board included in the accessory box.

Under the vertical mounting mode of ATX power supply, 4 levels of height elevation mounting (P1~4) are available to adapt to different hardware matching situations

The length of the power supply needs to be selected according to the specifications of the remaining hardware, usually even when installing longer graphics cards (=363mm):

1. With air-cooled CPU cooler, the power supply can be installed in the first stage (P1), and the length of the power supply can support at least 15cm.
2. When water-cooled CPU cooler is used, the power supply can be installed in the second stage (P2), and the length of the power supply can support at least 14cm.

Supports installation of 3 x 2.5-inch SSD

SSDs can be mounted on the back side or on the bottom, depending on the rest of the hardware configuration. Bottom mounting mode, the bottom can be compatible with both graphics card support bracket and 12cm fan x2 or 14cm fan x1.

* Maximum number of SSDs: 3 (2 back mounted + 1 bottom mounted)

Supports bottom-mounted 3.5-inch HDD x1

- HDD standard mounting mode, compatible with bottom mounted graphics card support bracket and single 12cm/14cm fan
- HDD additional mounting mode, compatible with bottom mounting dual 12cm fans (not compatible with graphics card support bracket)

Up to 5 cooling fans can be mounted

- Maximum 140mm fans can be installed on the top and bottom of the case.
- 120mm fan can be installed at the rear (air-cooled CPU cooler status), if it conflicts with the rear water-cooling pipe, 92mm fan can be installed at the rear or no fan can be installed.

Short Air Ducts to Maintain Efficient System Operation

The system fan and the large square mesh on the outside form a short through-air duct to quickly remove heat buildup from the CPU and GPU inside the chassis.

Comprehensive Coverage Magnetic Dust Filter

The main air inlet and outlet of the chassis are equipped with magnetic dust filters to isolate the environmental dust and ensure the stable operation of the host for a long time.

* Rear dust filters can be used for rear fan intake (to bring additional cooling airflow to the top cooler to optimize CPU temperature) or rear fanless configurations.

Dedicated 22mm deep back cable routing channel (with 3 Velcro strips to limit cables)

It's often difficult to plan for cable space in a compact chassis, so the Z20 comes with dual cable routing channels on the back and Velcro strips to limit the amount of extra cables that need to be routed, easing cable routing anxiety.

The motherboard also comes with 3 Velcro strips underneath the motherboard to secure and organize front I/O or fan cables.
