Intel Core i5 14600KF CPU

I Have Come from an I5 -12400f to this CPU. The Difference i saw is So Much Better My Fortnite Finally stays at 235fps to 240fps bare in mind you have a good cpu fan Cooler and a Good Casing Airflow. I have paired this with my RTX 4060. With the online bottleneck results for this i can say its the BEST I5 to pair with the 4060. I Have Come from an I5 -12400f to this CPU. Bought this CPU for my just freshly built pc had a awesome time installing it and it works amazing, great performance, and works diligently.

Would recommend for people with a medium sized budget.

Replaced an i5-12400F with this, simple bios update before putting it in and away it went flawlessly. Turns out my chip is also stable with .14v undervolting which means no thermal throttling at Intels default clock. Im GPU limited in games anyway so default clock is a happy place to be. For the price I found this to be the best CPU for me. Though the thermals are not so great as it will thermal throttle at 100% using Prime95. I had a tight budget for my PC upgrade and was about to go for the i7-12700f until I saw the i5-14600kf. Not only is it 15% faster, but also Budget friendly. This is perfect for overclocking and can handle DDR5 Ram at speeds over 6000mhz. I paired it with the Noctua NH-U12S Redux and it performs like a dream. Now I can game at settings from High to Epic! I had a tight budget for my PC upgrade and was about to go for the i7-12700f until I saw the i5-14600kf. Not only is it 15% faster, but also Budget friendly. This is perfect for overclocking and can handle DDR5 Ram at speeds over 6000mhz. I paired it with the Noctua NH-U12S Redux and it performs like a dream. Now I can game at settings from High to Epic!

Great price to performance. If you let it (in UEFI settings), it will easily draw more than 200 Watts (100% load) but with diminishing returns re: power / performance. Quite happy sitting at 181 W sustained (100% load, factory settings) at 70 C flat, with a NH-D15. Make sure you update your BIOS with recent 13th/14th gen issues, though they don’t seem to be significantly affecting 600 chips (no good reason not to though). Definitely recommend. Bought as an upgrade from a 12100F i3 I bought when 12th gen first came out, it is a decent upgrade and doesn't seem to run as hot as I was concerned about, it has the potential to put out tons of heat but idling and equivalent loads it isn't much different to my old CPU, but it has a way higher headroom. Very happy with this 14th Gen I5. I have always had a preference for Intel and certainly have no regrets with this - good price for the performance and I highly recommend it. Very happy with the 14th Gen I5. I have always gone with Intel and the I5 for 1440P gaming. When paired with a good mid range GPU, The 14600KF does not bottle neck at very high settings on 1440P.
