Xiaomi X10+ Smart Vacuum Robot Cleaner & Auto Fill Empty Station

This is the 3rd robot vacuum I’ve owned and the one it replaced was top of the line when I got it about 4 years ago. Totally blown away by the improvements! This one has never tangled a cord or gotten stuck: it just works. And the mopping is really good too! Really glad I did my homework and chose this model over the other options. The Xiaomi X10+ vac & mop fulfils the need.
Once the setup is complete, which given the nature of the job is a little tricky, the X10+ does it all.
With the selection for area and mop and or vac options, it does the job.
It deals with carpets, rugs, tiles and timber floors easily.
Being able to set it running remotely is very handy.
I have not yet had a problem with the unit, it is working well.

Love this, cleans even better than expected. Manages my bedroom rhino deep pile carpet. I have three small dogs has no problem with hair. No issues using app and setting it up . We had owned it less than 2 weeks and we had to take it back to get looked at. The vacuum is amazing but the mopping function stopped pretty quickly. No water would come out. The robot vacuum doesn't empty is internal dust bag very well into the station and I have to manually clean it out regularly or it gets blocked
The brushes underneath get tangled in a hair and lock up requiring manual intervention to cut the brush free.
Even though we have the robot vacuum cleaner set to run twice a week, we still need to vacuum every weekend anyway as it seems to leave a lot of "stuff" behind. Bit redundant IMO!

Repairs and Service
- Initial repair: PB Tech Manukau staff were helpful; repair completed in a few days.
- Second repair: took over a week, with both internal error and water tank concerns addressed.

Its failed again with a faulty internal sensor and will be going back to PB Tech for repairs.

Does a good job. Mapping software keeps changing itself and it gets very confused by the space beyond windows and mirrors creating extra non-existent rooms. Mopping and vacuuming is effective but it needs a lot of manual cleaning for the machine and base. Much more support maintenance than a vacuum only model, otherwise it does do a good job. We have a big house and it needs to empty the dust collector into the base more often because it gets too tightly full and then it won't empty and you have to do it manually. - if it emptied the dust when it cleans the mop pads that would be a huge improvement but the software does not offer that...view more Does a good job. This cleaner is so useful to have in the house. It took me a while to figure out the app & I needed to reset it, to completely map the first largest area of the house, {which is large.} It helps to minimise the furniture it has to navigate around, and once I'd organised a sequence for it to work to, it will almost complete the whole main area on one charge. I'm still refining the system to maximise it's effectiveness but I'm really happy at the help it provides. With an active indoor/outdoor dog there is a lot of cleaning required now, & this machine has been a winner. This cleaner is so useful to have in the house. Purchased one day. It comes with rugs and can climb 2cm which means it can cross my dog gate. It coped with tassels on the rug. It seems to struggle with longer hair rugs. It cleaned 50sm in 90 minutes, failed to return to base in time for battery to run out. Error message said blocked. In fact it was a double door one open one closed- it could not cope with. Seems pretty random and not smart. Could not work out how to get home quickly. Mopped the floor ok, but left some bits behind. The bags seem very small and have to be replaced. Great robot vacuum! I'm rapt with it and right now while its on a good price promotion I'm getting one for my daughter. Its noisier than the basic older one that I have moved upstairs but not too noisy and cleans way better. Its sensors are fantastic and it even copes with the five feet on my swivel chairs, beautifully negotiating around them. I love that it comes out from cleaning the carpet, identifies a tile floor and while it vacuums at the front of the machine it mops simultaneously from the back.
