Brainwavz Sony MDR-7506 Premium Replacement Earpads for Headphones - Black - Perforated PU Leather

Swapped out my old MDR-7506 earpads for these Brainwavz ones and I'm really happy with the change. The perforated PU leather feels good and they're noticeably more comfortable for longer sessions.

They fit well and were easy to install—took just a couple of minutes. Sound quality seems unchanged, which is exactly what I wanted.

Not much else to say except they do the job and feel great. If your old pads are wearing out, these are a solid replacement. I purchased these to replace some damaged earpads for my Arctis 7 Wireless headset.

Pros:
- Fits the headset fine (a little tight width wise, but height is the same)
- Feels durable enough but too early to tell how quickly they'll wear.
- Fits on easily.
- Comfortable enough, but not as comfy as the original earpads. These are much firmer compared to the Arctis 7 pads.

Cons:
- Slightly smaller width means if you have bigger ears they will not be as fitting.
- These are about 1cm smaller width wise than the Arctis 7 pads.
- Not the cheapest.
- Long sessions (while they're new) are a little less comfortable due to the firm-ness.

Note: Bought these on 04/10/22 and about 2 years later the surface layer started to crack and small black bits fall off on occasion. They're still a great replacement for my Arctis 7 pads.
So if you wear headphones a lot you might find yourself replacing these every ~2 years.
