Huion Kamvas 13 GS1331 - Cosmo Black

Not too long ago this sort of product was way out of my budget, I'm super happy to have one finally, I'm using Krita and have been enjoying getting back into drawing.
Great product great price considering how unattainable this sort of product was just a few years ago at these prices

~side note while I was researching this product I noticed this product comes with the pw517 not pw507 pen, some of the other Huion products of a similar price come with the 507 which is allegedly less delicate to draw with, more pressure required etc, so that was nice to find out

Also the difference between the Kamvas 13 and Kamvas 13 Pro is simply the non-pro is 1920 x 1080 (16:9) whilst the Pro model is 2560 x 1600(16:10)QHD+, 166 PPI vs 226PPI respectively
The pro is actually an older model negatives are coming with the pw507 pen, no android compatibility, requires wall power whilst the non-pro can take power through your pc's USB-C
positives - the Pro model comes with a touch bar, Better resolution and anti-glare glass whilst the non-pro only has a anti-glare film

The 13vs13pro ruminating took me a bit but I'm 100% happy with my choice, hope that can help you out if you're having the same decision-making problem I was having.

The product came with a couple of little extras such as a 2 fingered glove for drawing and a cleaning cloth. Over all it works great!
Feels nice to draw on and even acts as a second monitor when on so I'm able to have photoshop on the tablet and drawing references and such on my main monitor.
Only thing for me is that the screen brightness is quite high so if you're sensitive to lighting just a little heads up but your eyes do adjust nicely after a little. The device over all is easily to use and quite handy. For me setting up this product, it takes about 5-7 minutes due to having all sorts of plugs and adapters to use for my MacBook.
I have been using Krita, which is free to use and I have had problems with glitches on screen, but those can easily be fixed by turning the Kamvas off and on again.

Purchased this for my daughter for her studies into digital art at school the major advantage of using this product compared to similar brands of a similar price range is this is the only really one where you don't have to connect to a another screen or PC to see your drawing as it is all done on the screen which is big enough right in front you.It's a great option with out the big price tag attached therefore offering great value for money well earned and spent. I'm pretty miffed to learn only upon opening the box that the user manual is online only, (it's pretty lacking in instructions and feels poorly translated to boot) as it was only after downloading and reading through it that I realised that the included 3-in-1 cable does not have a USB-C attachment; indeed, I have to buy a proprietary USB-C to USB-C cable separately to even use this tablet. It does not function standalone, which I expected, but as my desktop PC only has a single HDMI port which is used for the monitor, I must purchase the separate 40 dollar cable just to connect it to my computer or android device, meaning I have about 2 more weeks to wait to even test this thing out. It appears the only way to use the Kamvas 13 as purchased is either to own certain kinds of laptop computers with a built in HDMI port; or to purchase a peripheral HDMI adaptor to use with your computer.
It also does not come with it's own power adaptor, and you will need to purchase or already own a decent quality USB adaptor to even turn the screen on.
Though the description of the item on the site mentions the USB-C cable several times, it does little to nothing to show that this is not one of the 3-in-1 cables connections, two of which are very similar USB's, and you could be forgiven for mistaking said 3-in-1 or even the included USB extension for the USB-C connection, as the marketing seems to infer the USB-C comes with the tablet.
On the plus side, the included donut style stand for the pen comes with 8 replacement nibs, meaning the pen should have a decent lifespan before requiring newer nibs to be purchased, and it also comes with a two-finger digital artists glove that appears to be one size fits all.
I cannot tell if I got a good deal for the price I paid; I literally cannot yet use the tablet. As it stands, I cannot give a review of the functionality of the product for at least 2 more weeks, as I will have to purchase a separate cable and wait for it to be shipped before I can even power it on. I will update my review accordingly when I have acquired the cable.
