We had an awkward setup at the back of our television, to monitor Freeview programs to the rest of the house tv's (bedrooms and kitchen). We had to keep replacing different components as they weren't really up to the job.
On explaining our setup to one of the PB Tech engineers, he suggested this device which was really easy to setup, got rid of two weak links in the system, and transmits the signal to the other tv's perfectly. You just have to remember to re-tune your other units in to it. Not a big deal.
It was received really quickly after the purchase too. We're very pleased with the outcome. This is the second unit I have installed. One for my home and recently for my in-laws. Takes the SKY HDMI output and modulates it into a digital RF signal that sends HDMI quality signal out to the other TVs in your house via your COAX aerial cabling. You tune your TVs into the modulated digital channel, defaults to channel 800, and you have the high quality SKY output. Note: it takes a short time to convert the HDMI signal into a modulated digital RF signal. I get about a 1 to 1.5 second delay between what I see on the SKY box/HDMI plugged in TV (instant reaction) and the remote TVs using the modulated RF digital. This means that when changing the SKY box channel remotely there is that short delay before you see the channel change on the remote TVs. But its a small price to pay to get a high quality picture.

Ive used various products over a peroid of close to 20 years at our holiday home to keep up with changes in technology but this is by far the easiest to set up and the picture quality to the three TVs around the house is out of this world. Also has a password function to lock settings so book a bachers cant fiddle with it! Good value for the money, and Ive just ordered another for home. This is expensive but it is a good quality RF Modulator and does include the HDMI loop output so is ideal for the newer Sky set top boxes and Freeview Digital set top boxes with HDMI output but no RF output. It is a bit annoying that the latest Sky STB has no RF output so had to buy this to distribute the RF back to the AUX input on a Hills G19055 6x8 Multiplexer located in the garage panel and this then goes out to 2 other TV's in the house all via the Coax cable only. Only HDMI 1.3 (released Jun 22, 2006) and this is good up to 1080p only and NOT 4K that needs HDMI 1.4 (released 28 May 2009) onwards so not that future proof. Preset for NZ and your TV tunes to channel 800. Easy to install for most people its pretty much preset, just plug it in.
