Background

The Standard Motor Company in Coventry, Great Britain, began manufacturing Ferguson tractors in 1946 (TE = Tractor England). In France, they were assembled by Standard-Hotchkiss in Saint Denis (TE-20 models) from 1952 onwards.

In 1956, the company switched to a completely French design (FF30 models), until production ceased in 1958. The TE-20 model was a huge commercial success, always painted gray and available in three widths: standard, narrow, and vineyard.
