The MiniArt 2-38021 1/35 LGOC B-Type London Omnibus is a stunningly detailed plastic model kit that captures one of the most iconic vehicles of early 20th-century British transportation history. The B-Type Omnibus, originally produced by the London General Omnibus Company (LGOC), became a defining symbol of Edwardian London and later saw extensive service during World War I as a troop carrier and general transport vehicle for the British Army.
This model recreates the original civilian version of the B-Type, as it would have appeared operating on the bustling streets of London around the 1910s. The double-decker structure is faithfully rendered, complete with open upper deck seating, curved staircase at the rear, and highly detailed wood-panel bodywork. Period advertising boards along the sides and rear of the bus are included via decals, allowing modelers to recreate an authentic look from the era.
MiniArt has meticulously reproduced the vehicle's mechanical elements as well. The front-mounted engine includes all visible external components such as the radiator, fan, pipes, and transmission linkages.
