I have three security cams, and all three (after this purchase) now have this brand/model card in them. The specs don't lie, and the SD card is perfect for the purpose I bought them - no issues whatsoever. Plug, and play. Read/write speed is as per specs, thus has helped ability to monitor cams considerably (connectivity/lag/etc). The higher capacity of this card means event-triggered recording ensures the card lasts AGES before overwriting older footage (e.g. a 32GB card was estimated to last four-plus weeks). Suffice to say I will buy again for other devices, and would/will also recommend. Pricing vs other brands is also a major bonus; particularly whenever PBTech has a special or sale on. While there are other brands many might consider more 'reputable'? Reviews of same suggest otherwise re factors such as failure rate/other issues - and in my humble opinion, Kingston is actually one of those reputable brands. They've been a mainstay in the market a long time - given the fickle nature of the tech industry? Any duds would sink fairly rapidly if products/services weren't consistently fit for purpose/able to meet industry standards/requirements. (Obviously purely speculative/anecdotal opinion - however, many things I read suggest other underlying issues re reasons for products not working as expected, etc - including not checking specs prooperly/unrealistic expectations, etc etc. Ergo, ability to troubleshoot is key - along with patience - and fair/objective reviewing).

I bought this for my childrens Nintendo Switch and works great! It is fast and does what it’s suppose to. I have had Kingston PC RAM for 10 years already without any issues so trust the Kingston brand. Cost half of Sandisc brand and works just as well. Recommended!!
