The Vtech VT-QD-Y-02 2M QD cord splitter is a Quick Disconnect (QD) Y-cable splitter designed for use with professional headset systems. "QD" stands for Quick Disconnect, a widely-used connector standard in call centre and office telephony headsets. The Y-splitter style allows multiple headset paths or connections to originate from one QD base cable over a 2-metre length, giving flexibility in workspace setups and training environments.

Quick Disconnect (QD) Headset Background

The QD standard lets headset users quickly detach the headset from the cord without unplugging the entire cable system - important in professional use cases where users may frequently step away or switch headsets. This VT cable connects via standard QD plugs on both branches of the Y, allowing two downstream devices to link from one QD source.

Cable Splitter Functionality

As a Y-splitter, the VT-QD-Y-02 branches from a single incoming QD connection into two QD ends. This allows, for example, a supervisor and trainee to both connect headsets to the same call feed or enables sharing audio monitoring without removing the primary headset. The 2 metre length gives room for comfortable positioning without tangling or crowding at a desk or training station.

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
