Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Ergonomic Wireless Gaming Mouse

This has been great so far for 3 weeks in. Just like the mainstream G502, coming with its additional buttons, tilt scroll and free scroll are great nice to haves. It has nice clicks on all of the buttons. It looks great. It is on the heavier side, but coming from a 65g Glorious Model O I've preferred having the extra buttons to be able to use it as an all rounder mouse for games and general use. It has a very comfortable shape and textured PBT plastic feel to it opposed to the typical slippery mice.

The main rival was the G502X Plus with two extra buttons and longer battery life. However, the G502X Plus does not come with a bluetooth option, which is much more convenient when I want a mouse to bring along with a laptop. After reading reviews, it appeared the Basilisk was more comfortable, but take it with a grain of salt and watch reviews yourself.

The price is questionable, but it does bring a lot to the table. A downside is that you need to buy the Hyperpolling Wireless Dongle for 4k polling or the Mouse Dock Pro for Qi Charging and 4k polling in one.

Price aside as its a product review, I have no complaints about what the mouse has given for my use. I do not mind plugging in the mouse each night to charge it after using 2.4GHz, 1k polling and 100% brightness the whole day.

I brought this mouse back in February 2023 and it is now the 26/05/24 and the wireless dongle has stopped working out of the blue, it works perfectly fine while plugged in and while using Bluetooth but it will not work with the dongle you can’t buy a replacement dongle and my computer won’t even register the dongle being plugged in if I knew this when I brought it I would've just brought the wired one and saved $200 I brought this mouse back in February 2023 and it is now the 26/05/24 and the wireless dongle has stopped working out of the blue, it works perfectly fine while plugged in and while using Bluetooth but it will not work with the dongle you can’t buy a replacement dongle and my computer won’t even register the dongle being plugged in if I knew this when I brought it I would've just brought the wired one and saved $200

The Pros:
1. This great mouse, fun to use
2. It has better battery life than its predecessor
3. The build quality is excellent
4. I feel like the Razer software has also improved over time and is no longer as intrusive as it used to be.

The Cons:
1. The thumb trigger button is no longer removeable. You will accidentally trigger this all the time if you are upgrading from the previous Razer mouse which had a removeable thumb button. You will just have to disable in it the razer software and do your best.
2. The mouse ships incomplete. It has NO DOCK, and it also has NO QI CHARGING PUCK. These are sold separately. If you end up also ...view more The Pros:
