Rapoo N100 Wired USB Mouse - Black

Either the mouse I got was faulty, or the design is faulty. Every other mouse I’ve ever used can detect when you lift it from the desk more than 1-2mm and stops the cursor from moving (google “lift off distance”). This one makes the cursor jump around erratically even when lifted multiple centimetres, making it unusable.

I thought it would be easy to return given the obvious fault, but I wasted 10 minutes arguing with the guy at the returns counter who insisted “nobody ever lifts the mouse from the desk.” It is very normal to lift your mouse to reposition it on the desk/mouse pad. Save yourself the hassle and don’t buy this mouse. I replaced with a cheap Logitech mouse (costs twice as much but still cheap) and have had no issues with it.

Got this Rapoo N100 corded mouse in black for my workstation, it has the brand name embossed on the top that is barely noticeable, is quite a slim design that fits well in my hand, nicely curved shape with a short 1.5 metre cord that was just sufficient to reach the box that sits on the floor from a standing desk, the cord itself is also of quite small diameter, happy to report that it is great value, works with precision and is pleasant to use.
