TP-Link Archer TX20U (AX1800) Dual-Band WiFi 6 USB Wireless Adapter

Basically used on a media station/PC. Tried the older WN-821N - way too slow (1Mbps)! With every other variable the same, I'm now transferring files (within LAN) at 11Mbps. WiFi Router is ~5m away (straight line) on a different level, so signal possibly going through 4x 15mm GIB boards + carpet + insulation. I do get intermittent connection drops but that seems like it could be a Windows/physical connection issue that I haven't fully troubleshot. Basically used on a media station/PC. For those that can't connect with these WiFi 5 or 6 adapters on Windows, try this as nothing else works for me (and i've spent days on them):

1)Type cmd in the Search Box in the Task bar

2) Right click on the Command Prompt (Desktop app) search result and select Run as administrator.

5) De-select (remove) ANOD Network Security Filter Driver from the list of items in the Networking table.

6) Click OK.

Immediately I could see that I was able to connect to the internet.

Connected new WiFi 6 adapter to my computer usb connection.
Did a few input instructions and wireless internet connection working perfectly.

Works good, still lose some connection but not blaming the product the house has old wiring so im guessing the connection here isnt good, without this adapter id have 2 bars instead 4 worth the money. Had to get emergency internet so wifi was the way to go & this worked well. Simple & easy to use. Just plugged it into the back of pc with the usb. My friend was able to access it while I used it as well so was great. was going to borrow his different usb one to this but it didn't work well so he researched one for me & decided on this one. We were gaming so worked with games. Will be great for backup if have problems again, as just got it for backup. Had to get emergency internet so wifi was the way to go & this worked well. Alright straight to the chase, its a 3 star from me. My bedroom has this very awkward situation with my wifi coverage. When your inside the room the wifi is shit, but just standing at the door way gives max bars and full wifi speeds with no drops. My pc currently sits on the ground under my desk. So my solution was to daisy chain a bunch of usb A extension cable so that the wifi adapter will technically be outside my room while the pc doesn't have to be moved. My set up consists for a 5m + 5m + 2m cable that worked perfectly fine with my old wifi 5 adapter. But when it was time to replace it with this one, I had to remove one of the 5m and the 2m cables because this thing uses a high amount of watts to fully function and when you daisy chain a bunch of extension cables there is an inherent increase in resistance through each cable. So this stupid adapter was constantly disconnecting and reconnecting for no reason making me rip my hair out for 2 bloody hours. I had to ask chatgpt for some help, I only solved the problem because chatgpt suggest it could be an abnormal power thing. In the end it just awkwardly hangs above me on the ceiling rather than at the door way now. But luckily the wifi coverage on this guy is much better than my old wifi 5 adapter, so in the end it worked out for me. I just wished it didnt look so ugly.
